She… a mother…

Bible Quote

You know how she’s always there for you no matter what.
She’s always so strong and sturdy against any storm.
She’s always the one ready to catch us when we fall.

She’s everything and she’s a mother.

Your mom. My mom.

Happy Mom’s Day to all the moms in the world!

You deserve our salute every single day of your lives.

Teenage dream

teenage dream

She is smiling a lot the past couple of weeks. Ever since he came into her life, she’s done nothing but smile. He makes her feel young, like a teenager actually. He makes her feel like she’s the most beautiful girl in the world! With just one look, he can make her feel loved.

She’s taken to using an Adovia mud mask. She wants to look good for him. She wants him to look at her and see her skin glowing. She wants for him to see the love shining from every pore in her face and body!

She is in love and it’s a teenage dream she’s living.

You and me

you and me

The song by Lifehouse was playing in the background when they were planning their roadtrip. It will be their nth time to do it but the first time as a couple. They’ve known each other for a long, long time, since they were kids in fact and it took them a while to finally realize that the right people they were looking for to love were each other.

So it happened and they were so happy about it! The roadtrip will be a sort of test on their new and still fragile relationship. They will share with the cost of it 50-50. She insisted. They already paid for the michelin motorcycle tires. They will bring the motorcycle with them in their truck so they can go up the mountain easily.

They can’t wait to go on the trip. And be alone. As the song says… you and me.

From one sport to another

One thing he’s grateful for his mom? Supporting him in the sports he loves! He remembers his first equestrian clothing. He also remembers how his mom sacrificed money she’s supposed to use for a medical check-up so she could buy him his equestrian apparel. He competed that time and she thought he needed the money more than her.

She also doesn’t mind that he’s jumping from one sport to another. He would discard one sport when his interest waned and would find a new one to focus on. He went back to equestrian as it has always been his first love.

He may be 19 now but he still considers his mom his number one supporter! And will always be.

Singing the blues

He easily gets depressed over some things in his life. He is aware of how it can harm him if he doesn’t do anything about it so he searched online for an alesis musical instrument and when he did, he bought one.

He is singing his blues away. Literally. He has to or he will drown in unhappiness.

He doesn’t know when this began. He used to be a bubbly kid. He has loving parents who support him in any way. But when he’s alone in his room, he can feel the loneliness enveloping him. He doesn’t have many friends so the few ones he has he calls them up and hangs out with them.

Singing the blues and diverting his attention are the things he does every time he is alone now.

True strength

True strength

I try so hard to be good but there are persons around me who tempt me to be bad. It’s a struggle that I am always in. I am a strong person but I have a lot of weak moments especially when I am besieged with problems.

But as they say, a person’s true strength lies in the fact that he never gives up. That’s true strength there!

So don’t give up even when you are drowning in problems. Trust me, when you least expect it, that’s when a lifeline will be thrown to you.

That somebody was you!

That Somebody Was You

I’ve been waiting a lifetime for somebody to love me like you do.
I was thinking that I’d always be lonely but God came up with someone like you.
Just to think I had made up my mind love was over…
Somebody gave me the love,
that somebody was you.

Trained in beauty

She will be opening a salon of her own two months from now. She is still taking care of all legalities but as soon as she is done with it, she will open her salon. It’s been a dream of hers since she was in her teens and now it’s slowly becoming a reality.

She is trained in beauty in the Regency Beauty Institute which is a cosmetology school offering a unique approach to teaching their students by letting them offer their services to the public. Of course, under the supervision of the expert faculty. She learned a lot from it.

She can’t wait for her salon to open!

Tying the knot?

What the world really needs is more love and less paper work. – Pearl Bailey

I was a very conservative person in the past. I was brought up that way. I frown on living arrangements of couples outside of marriage. In short, I didn’t like live-in setups.

When I went to college, I realized there’s more to life than my own beliefs. And that my parents may have had good intentions when they were parting advices to me, but that not all of it are conclusive. I started opening my mind to possibilities. I formed my own beliefs, sought explanations, and have been truly moving beyond my boundaries.

Do you know that ever since, I have this belief that it is better to try living with the man you want to spend the rest of your life with before tying the knot with him? I’ve seen happy marriages, sure. But I’ve seen far more unhappy ones. I’ve friends who have regrets because in their hearts they know they could have chosen someone better. Of course, I also do know that live-in arrangements won’t work for everyone. And it’s not fool-proof. I just know that it saved a lot of people from heartache and misery over spending their lives with the wrong person.

Hey, I am not saying you do it. Just think a million and a dozen times before you finally tie the knot. Love is not all about the papers and legalities. It is really beyond that and more. Spending the rest of your lives with the right person can still cause you stress and heartaches at some point. What more with the wrong person?

Zip it shut!

zipped!I can be terribly bad tempered. I can be the sweetest person right this very minute and the terrible monster the next.

It wasn’t intentional. I am trying to be a positive person but I think living a very unhealthy lifestyle is doing this to me. I might be suffering from high blood pressure already. Or something else. I just hate going for medical check-ups so I can’t be sure. So these days, I am the Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at home. One minute smiling, the next minute so darn angry!

And when I know that I am in one of those mood swings, I just zip my mouth shut. If not, I know I’ll say something hurtful to the nearest person and I will feel guilty the rest of the day.

UNDO life

I’ve read this from a tweet by Paulo Coelho… there is no UNDO key in real life.

True.

undo-button

If only there is, there won’t be too many mistakes that will haunt us presently. If only there’s an UNDO button in our lives, we can undo whatever wrong it is that we just did. We can undo the bad things and re-do it so that it will turn out for the better. We can undo all the sicknesses in the world and live better lives.

If only…

Contemplating life

Contemplating Life

From time to time, I do tend to contemplate on what’s happening in my life. I do that to have a better grasp of my future. I hate not being in control. I hate waking up the next day not knowing what to do. I would like to believe that I am done with that already.

Of course, I know that I really don’t have any control of what happens the next day. But the mere fact that I have something planned, or that I am prepared for whatever the next day gives me, that’s control already.

A bright future

I don’t know with you but I would very much want a bright future ahead of me. I want a comfortable old age. I don’t want to grow old and still worry about where I can get income for the next day. I am sure you feel the same way, right?

If so, let the Missoula, MT wealth management group handle your finances for you. Let them take care of it so that by the time you are no longer earning a regular income, you have your money intact and waiting for you to use. You can relax because you have money tucked away for you.

Clear waters and sunshine

Just living is not enough. One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.
- Hans Christian Andersen

Been obsessing about going to the beach to unwind and enjoy the clear waters and sunshine.

Have a great weekend!
