I went to visit a friend last week. It was a very touching experience for both of us. She was feeling gloomy that day because of a broken heart. We both know the man who broke her heart and to lift her spirit, I diverted her attention by talking about a lot of things. We talked about work, money, female friends, kids, and our respective families. She opened up about some things she’s going through right now. No talks about the man we both know.
Before I said goodbye and went home, she hugged me really tight and she said thanks.
