Every truck/delivery driver that the company hires is given an implicit trust to do his job well and to follow the rules given by the logistics manager. That’s done by default. But that trust does not mean the company will not take actions into ensuring that the driver and delivery boys will not sabotage the important task of delivering goods from one store to another. Thus, the company is placing gps vehicle tracking in every delivery truck they have.
So far, so good. All six delivery trucks are doing well and always on time with each and every delivery, even when there’s a storm. The boss is happy and the logistics team as well as the delivery drivers and boys will be given an incentive very soon.
